How to Replace an Audi G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

The grey wire is situated on the outside of the transmission, above the flywheel ring. The sensor sends a signal via the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU then utilizes this information to regulate the boost, fuel, and timig. It also sends signals to the G5 tachometer inside the instrument cluster.

2. Injectors

Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, I experienced a big cut in power like the engine is out of gas or injectors are not firing at all. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched with gazoline the fourth one was dry. I put tissue over each hole in the injector and when i start the engine without sparks, the ones that have gazoline pop right out. The fourth one remains closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55/30/55/48/55/14/55/48/ I got zero ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.

I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it is audi a4 car key replacement running fine with the G28 plugged in. However the intermittent misfire issue persists at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows a temperature of -49c. 3. Fuel Pump
